Have you ever emptied your pockets after a beach walk and thought, why do I have 47 pieces of sea glass, three pottery shards and a shell that kinda looks like a potato? Yeah, me too.....but instead of letting them disappear into the mystical everything drawer (we all have one), I turn them into art!

Here, you'll find quirky, colourful creations made from pottery, sea glass and other treasures that I've collected along the coasts of the UK - because lost things deserve a second chance. These pieces take hours and multiple trips to the coast to find and create but I enjoy the challenge of making something beautiful out of something that is often overlooked.   If you love beach combing, creativity or just an excuse to finally do something with all those treasures, give my art work a gander! 

At Shards of the Shore, I believe that every piece of sea glass and pottery shard has a story to tell. The journey began with a simple beach walk, where I realised the beauty of forgotten treasures and transformed them into art.
